We're back from sunny Florida, my brother is happily married and everyone is about $1000 less rich/more poor. More and more, it seems that Madison, specifically most of Wisconsin may not have all of what Megs and I want. We want to live in the country, with a nice garden and our herd of animals. We also want jobs we can be happy at. WTF Wisco, where's the freakin' jobs?
Granted, it's probably tougher for an ex-con and his artist wife to get jobs than people with "employable" skills. For now, we suffer 9-5...searching for answers.

If you like the countryside, I recommend Montana. But you better have some country skills, like earth tilling, varmint killing, Bud swilling...
Seriously, there's more to country life than breathing fresh air and mistrusting the government. If you're not into farming, ranching, equipment operating, carpentering, stuff like that, I don't know what you'll do in rural America.
"...farming, ranching, equipment operating, carpentering..." is what I like the most about being out in the country, that, and doing it all naked because I don't have neighbors.
Moving away IS the answer. I'm leaving Trek. And moving... but to the city. If you want tractor driving, Bud swilling, and naked chores I'd recommend North Dakota.
montucky is NOT the answer man!!!
I repeat NOT the answer!!
sincerely, rev. 4
