new job...sort of

Megs and I are both working 7 days a week now, she's at the bank fulltime, I'm at AMS fulltime and we both work parttime at the Everafter Dog Kennel. In addition to cleaning kennels and feeding dogs, Margarita (owner) has enlisted us in the socialization training of her current Doberman litter. She has 3 pups who are about 5 months old. For 1 week each we take one of the puppies home and the dog lives with us, we introduce it to things like: how to go up and down stairs, how to politely meet to people and animals, polite house manners, how to get along with (ignore) cats. We're also getting the animals used to walking on a leash. Finally, we get to use the dogs as testers of our hound collars. So far, Shaun, our first Dob, is doing really well. His tempermant is fantastic and he's extrememly friendly with everyone he's met so far. At the dog park yesterday he played with a variety of other breeds and people. He even let a young boy - maybe about 7 years old - run up and hug him around the neck. He didn't even appear stressed about it. Shaun is a good boy, and Margarita's pretty sure he'll be a champion conformation dog in no time.

Shaun and Lucy have made best friends...

It's hard to see, but his collar is totally hot. Margarita also breeds "America's favorite dog" the Chinese Crested. If you're intrested in one of these breeds, kill yourself, these dogs are mostly hairless, ill-mannered, disgusting little dogs. Ask Vee, he'll tell you the truth about these dogs.

To Bette: I still think you're cooler than Vee, I just don't prefer Cresteds, not even a little bit.
