Trailer trash

So I'm testing a prototype new cargo trailer from Trek. It's not so bad, it's heavy, and has some crazy rack design so all these Trek-only bags will fit. I hope they get rid of that. It's about half the total weight of the trailer without the bags. We've got some better ideas, that are coming in 30 days. Until then, I'm supposed to use this one and see if it works. I did manage to cut a corner a little too tight and put one of the wheels into a curb, flipping the trailer and causing me to loose control and hit a telephone poll. Somehow my rear wheel got a little jacked, and the trailer's scratched up now. But I guess that's what prototypes are for. Megan's MFA show was a super hit. Everyone was really impressed, tomorrow she has her oral defense of the show and then she graduates! Yeah!!! We were at the mighty VFW Post 1318 drinking this past Saturday and finally experienced what I think a VFW should be - 130 Marines - all dressed up and getting a little wasted. It was an interesting site. All the VFW regulars looked really proud, the Marines were getting glassy eyed from their drinks, the barkeeps all were beaming. It was nice to see everyone there happy instead of tired and depressed and beaten down from the effing President's existance. Even Judy, who studders and doesn't ever look happy was beaming, and not studdering. It was really nice. Tomorrow I have another interview with Trek Travel, I'd better study.
