For most of my fellow cyclists, the season is over or winding down. Many folks are looking into 2008 with plans and goals. I'm no different. Last year at this time, I had roughly 13 races I wanted to do. Then things started changing, I changed jobs which allowed for way, way less time on the bike, from there, I can come up with about 10 other excuses as to why I didn't do much racing or even cycling. Whatever, that's behind me. I miss my bikes.
Megs and I have plans for home buying, business creation and who knows what else, all of which doesn't really afford much time to ride. If I'm to even attempt 3 races in '08, I need to start commuting to work on my bicycle. It's that simple. It should be no problem. I'm up at 5:30am and out with the dogs, we're back around 7:00am, which affords plenty of time to ride 20ish miles to work, arriving before 10:00am. No problem, right? All I need to is get on my bike.
Watch out the BKB is coming, still.
