green thumbs

Megs and I have started our garden. Sunday we spent all day tilling, planting, watering and sweating off our hangovers. We planted tomatos, onions, peppers, corn, carrots, and zucchini in our 10' x 15' plot. I'm all excited about "farming" since we live out on a farm, we should at least give it a shot I figure, so I'm thinking about planting a larger plot of corn. Maybe like 5 or 6 rows 10' long. I guess corn stalks only yield 1 or 2 ears each. Right now we'll only get 9 ears of corn - assuming everything planted grows, Megs is Iowan, sometimes all she makes for dinner is corn on the cob and maybe some potato salad, 9 ears of corn won't last long.

Serious technial difficults keep me from posting a photo documentry of our garden or April MOTAB.
