absolute carnage

Saturday morning, my puppies were remarkably calm, too calm. As I stumbled down the stairs I realized why, one of them had silently uprooted and destoryed Megs' new plant. There was dirt everywhere, and the puppies both had nice fresh soil on their heads and paws. It was a sad way to start a nice warm weekend.

Later in the day, I thought we'd go for a bike ride down the frozen Crawfish River. it started out nice, then when I slowed down as the snow got deeper, Cordova cought me and bit my calf. Not hard, but hard enough for me to notice, he also started nipping at my feet as I pedaled harder to get away from my own dog. Heidi said he came from "extremely good working bloodlines," so good I guess that he's got strong herding instincts. That's OK though, I figure it'll help me in racing because riding to keep away from a tireless German Shepherd has to be harder than racing Sport WORS. At least nobody's trying to bite your legs in bike racing.

I think I'm gonna try some WORS this year, so I can bite at your legs if you think it'll help.
