Thanks for the Problems

It's bike to work week, so I biked to work yesterday, and then home again. Even with the rain, the ride is nice. HOWEVER! Thanks to BONTRAGER my bike is unrideable. The rear wheel was made so the sealed bearings get crushed to pieces. I didn't have many miles on the bike - less than 100 - tuesday I noticed the bearings were a little rough, Wednesday I rode 40 miles, today the rear wheel is basically a fixed gear and makes a lot of horrible noises. Trek doesn't have any of the wheels in stock, Fiess is getting one built up special for me, but until then, no riding my Lemond. Bontrager has had about every concievable thing fail on their wheels - hub flanges, rims, hub bearings and spokes. At least the nipples work. Maybe in 2007 the wheels will be perfect.
