Art, they DO exist, drinking in excess

First off: I am flattered to be the co-recipient (Megs and Kathy share with me) of the fabled "free drink at the Great Dane." And not just "here, this is on me." It's the wooden nickels pictured above. We finally earned it. Years of drinking and being friendly have finally paid off. I saw BGP today, he reminded me of a Naughty Boys farewell for himself. He's back from France - World Trials Championship. SGC was fantastic, some of my favorite prints will be posted very shortly. Artists are special people, on a whole, not really possessing a great deal of talent, intelligence or good looks. There's a few standouts among them: Megan Page, Kathy O'Connell, Sabrina Ogle, John Hitchcock, Rachel Malis, and Jim Escalante. I learned a lot about Etching, Photo Litho and pompous yet loathful post teen angst ridden youth. I saw a lot of bad, bad art. The sort of shit we've been seeing since 1986. The trendy, edgy art where the picture is a bloody mess and it's titled, "Teenage Lovers." I really enjoyed my time off. Rode out to Paoli today, the way out I spent my time cursing my poor diet and general sloth-like obesity. The way back, though!!!! Hoooo-weee, hello tailwind. I was caught on Seminole by a Crono guy on some fancy carbon-deluxe race bike. I happily traded pulls back into town. Nice guy, and I felt good riding with some stranger. The 3 days of SGC have caught up to me, now I will rest. Thank you, goodnight.
